Voge has unveiled the CU-X petrol and electric hybrid concept at the Chongqing motorcycle show in China, alongside a new technology platform called 极屿智行 (Translation: Jiyu Smart Mobility). Chinese launch coverage describes the concept as combining petrol and electric power, giving visitors a look at the company’s development work.
The platform was introduced on September 19. It brings together connected riding features and vehicle control technology, with development areas including hybrid power, active suspension, stability control and systems that adjust the motorcycle’s stance.
According to the presentation coverage, the connected features use satellite positioning and sensor information to provide road condition and hazard alerts. Connections with smartphones and watches are also part of the plans, supporting riding information and journey advice.
Voge intends to introduce elements of the platform gradually across its production range. The reports say some functions have already been implemented, although they do not clearly identify those functions or the models involved. The presentation also leaves open which systems were operational on the CU-X itself.
