Periodic-maintenance interval table and key fastener torques for the SR4 Max CVT scooter. Different cadence from the geared Voge bikes - every 5,000 km, with a CVT belt replacement at 20k.

Service cadence
- First service: 1,000 km or 3 months
- Thereafter: every 5,000 km or 12 months - whichever comes first
So the official mileage milestones are 1k → 5k → 10k → 15k → 20k → 25k.
This is different from Voge’s geared bikes, which run on a 6k cycle. If you’re coming off a DS900X or DS525X you’ll be visiting the dealer slightly more often per kilometer.

Items worth knowing about
- CVT belt is replaced at 20,000 km - this is the marquee maintenance item on a CVT scooter. Budget for it. The replacement also typically includes inspection of the variator weights and clutch shoes; ask your dealer to do those at the same time.
- CVT inspection at 10k and 20k - internal cleaning and check of the variator/clutch. Riders who use the SR4 Max in dusty or humid conditions should ask for an extra inspection at 5k or 15k.
- Valve clearance and spark plug only at 20k - Voge’s most relaxed service interval among the bikes we’ve documented. The 350cc engine is tuned conservatively.
- Engine oil and secondary oil filter every 10k or 1 year - note the change interval is 10k, not 5k. The 5k interval is purely an inspection/level-check visit.
- Front brake pads replaced at 15k. (No second replacement listed in the 25k window - assume the same 15k cycle continues.)

The engine-to-frame and engine-holder fasteners are notably high-torque (180 N·m each) - make sure your torque wrench has the range. Mid-frame work on this scooter genuinely needs the right tool.
Other torques mentioned in the manual: rear-suspension adjusting nut 22 N·m. Front shock absorber bolt nut #3: 15-20 N·m. Bolt nut #5: 22 N·m.
Break-in (first 1,000 km)
- First 1,000 km: drive carefully, avoid sudden acceleration and extended high-speed running
- Economic cruising speed: 50 km/h (manual states fuel consumption rises sharply between 60 → 90 km/h)
- First 200 km: low-speed cornering only
- First 500 km: gentle braking
- First 24 hours after tire patch: max 80 km/h
After break-in, get the 1,000 km first service done at a Voge dealer for warranty validity.
