Fluid specifications
- Engine oil: The workshop manual on PDF page 9 specifies 10W-40, SL grade or higher: 1.6 L without a filter change, 1.7 L with a filter change, and 2.2 L after engine disassembly.
- Coolant: PDF page 35 specifies 1.3 L and the designation G40. Its accompanying wording is “Ethanol-containing, silicate-free coolant”; the designation is reproduced here without interpreting that chemistry description.
- Brake fluid: The front brake specification on PDF page 54 and rear brake specification on PDF page 55 both specify DOT 4.
Conflicting instructions in this manual
Oil-level check timing: On PDF page 9, the main procedure says to idle for 180–300 seconds, stop the engine and wait one minute. The separate “Important” note on the same page says to idle for 30 seconds before checking again. We cannot verify which timing is correct.
Rear shock absorber lower mounting bolt: The workshop manual specifies 35 N·m on PDF page 8, but 40 N·m for both upper and lower mounting bolts on PDF page 48. We cannot verify which lower-bolt value is correct.
